My Thoughts:

Wow oh wow!! All hail a queen of gang land crime, this book is one of the best I’ve read!!

I haven’t been able to put this book down, Casey has gripped me from early on and made it completely addictive yet impossible to leave.

I absolutely love Lucy, she is a great and likeable character. It’s no secret that I favour female authors, this is a prime example of why.

This book literally has it all:

• Likeable characters
• Characters you hate
• Victims you can sympathise with
• Crime world many of us don’t experience

I’ve definitely had all the feels reading this book. There have been moments of anger, upset and where I’ve wanted to hit Gerard myself.

I absolutely love reading Casey’s books because right when you think you know what’s coming, she hits you with a twist and leaves you on the edge of your seat.

Casey has a superb writing style which just flows nicely and you honestly feel as though you are there. Definitely recommend this one and all of Casey’s other books because there really isn’t one any less than five stars.

This is a fantastic book, by a hugely talented author and I am going to be that person- I cannot wait for the next book!!!

Who is Casey Kelleher?

Born in Cuckfield, West Sussex, Casey Kelleher grew up as an avid reader and a huge fan of author Martina Cole.

Whilst working as a beauty therapist and bringing up her three children together with her husband, Casey penned her debut novel Rotten to the Core. Its success meant that she could give up her day job and concentrate on writing full time.

Huge thank you to the lovely Georgia for my place on this blog tour for this absolutely gorgeous book. The cover alone screams out to be picked up. I definitely haven’t been disappointed with this one.

This is a gorgeous read which is both heartwarming but also heart wrenching. This is an end of WW2 love story which is based in war torn Italy. The author has portrayed the horrors of life in Italy during this period.

I have been really struck by the powerful emotion in this author’s writing, it makes me a little ashamed to say that this is my first book by this author. However, I am pleased to say that I am a converted fan and will definitely be reading more.

The main character in this is strong, believable and likeable. The author has given a real sense of personality and quality to each in the book. Additionally, the author has provided a strong sense of date and time throughout the book.

I have been completely amazed how much I have loved this book. I have definitely been kept on the edge of my seat and have completely devoured this entire book in one sitting. This is most definitely a five star read.

Along the way, they are adopted by the lascivious Lucy Fishwick and her predatory daughter Maddie, whose lives are as mad and chaotic as the radio play Lucy is trying to write and, indeed, the world itself. But despite the coming plague, it doesn’t look like Armageddon. There is to be an apocalypse, but one of personal dimensions. We don’t all go together when we go!

This has been a good read, filled with some great characters who are likeable and realistic. However, this book also links to real life events. A completely unique read from what I am usually reading.

I have liked the writing style of this, the author has made this a book which is easy to get lost in. The writing is easy flowing and nice to be immersed in. Although this book is part of a series, I feel it has been a great standalone read.

The book has a completely unique plot, I can’t say I’ve read anything which relates so closely to real life events prior to this one. That alone has made this a memorable read.

I have found this is an engaging and enjoyable read which I have enjoyed. Definitely recommend this book.

I absolutely adore Daisy’s books so immediately got excited about a newbie. This one has certainly been worth the wait. If the gorgeous cover isn’t enough to tempt you to pick this one up, it definitely should be.

This has been a completely gorgeous read and I have found that this has been difficult to put down. I have been completely captivated by the book and have devoured this in just one sitting.

I have loved it, Daisy has a way of making you feel as though you have escaped while you read her books. She is an extremely talented author and I honestly think this might be my new favourite book. It is a wonderful escapist read which has really lifted my spirits.

I have loved everything about this book, the characters are brilliant, the setting is beautiful and the plot just flows. This is without a doubt a five star read, only it definitely deserves higher.

Another new author for me, but I can safely say I have loved this book. I have been completely hooked by this one. This is a great read which I have completely devoured.

This one which is very cleverly written and easy to lose yourself in the pages. The concept of members of a law team being killed with a lethal injection is dark. I have loved it. The characters are great and this is written in such a way you feel as though you are watching the events play out.

I highly recommend this absolutely fantastic read. It has definitely captivated me and kept me completely gripped. The book is fantastic and I can’t wait to read more by this author. This has definitely converted me as a fan. I cannot say anything negative about this one.

I was initially attracted by the cover, it looks a little dark and instantly grabbed my attention- I haven’t been disappointed either. This is a completely gripping and engaging read which has captivated me from the very first page.

This is a book has captivated me from the very first page. I haven’t wanted to put this book down. I have devoured this in just one sitting. I have been kept on the edge of my seat.

This is a completely unique story and I have loved the authors style, I have been completely gripped and kept guessing by this one.

Can I Give My husband Back? Kristen Bailey

Thank you to Bookouture for having me on this blog tour.

It’s normal to prefer getting a filling at the dentist’s to spending time with your husband, right?

I thought I was sorted on the life front. I was a heart surgeon with a loving partner and two gorgeous little girls. Except my husband’s version of ‘loving’ is lying, cheating and sleeping his way around London. Which means I definitely deserve a refund.

Unfortunately, moving on isn’t that simple. Just because I know how to operate on a heart doesn’t mean I know how to fix my broken one. Plus, I lost the receipt for him years ago so I’m definitely getting short changed.

But now I’m single, am I ready to mingle? There are a few minor issues:

1) The last time I went on a date double denim was in fashion and my eyebrows were horrendously overplucked.

2) Men wear stupidly skinny jeans now.

3) I don’t know how to use dating apps but at least I don’t have to get changed out of my pyjamas.

4) Sometimes the most promising thing you have in common with a guy is a shared love of prawns.

5) I don’t know whether to open a date with ‘hi’ or ‘hello’ or ‘hey’ and once I ended up saying ‘howdy’.

Everything happens for a reason, they say. There’s plenty more fish in the sea. But what happens when everything falls apart and you haven’t got a clue how to go fishing?

An absolutely hilarious and utterly relatable tale for anyone who has ever survived a nightmare relationship, felt a little lonely or nursed a broken heart with wine and carbs. This feel-good novel will get you back on your feet and genuinely laughing out loud. Perfect for fans of Why Mummy Drinks, Sophie Ranald and Sophie Kinsella.

Oh my goodness, I love Kristen! I actually wish we could be friends because she is hilarious. This book has made me laugh so much my sides hurt.

I absolutely adore books by Kristen, they never disappoint. This has been a welcome revisit to the Callaghan family. I love Emma’s character in this one, she is definitely strong and independent.

This book is definitely the pick me up and anxiety buster I’ve needed. It has allowed me to switch off and completely relax my mind with added hilarity thrown in. Kristen writes in such a way you are captivated from the very first page.

I loved the last book, but this book is even better. I’m so excited to see what the future has in store for Kristen, she definitely has a huge talent. This is definitely an author you’d want ” An evening with” tour filled with Wine and a lot of laughing.

Most definitely recommend this book and find it is highly deserving of five stars.

Oh man, another book which has made me curse the male population. Poor Jemima. I have really felt for her throughout this book.

This has been a gorgeous read, I was attracted by the gorgeous cover. However, the story inside has been equally as stunning as the cover.

This book is unique and completely engaging. Scott captivated my attention from the beginning and made this a book impossible to put down. I have devoured the gorgeous gem in just one sitting.

This has been a heartwarming and easy read which has provided a wonderful escape from the current reality. I have absolutely adored this one. I definitely recommend this book to anyone who needs a pick me up read.

A definite five star book for me, I have loved it. Can’t wait to read more.

I have loved this book, it’s a great format, easy to read and summery read.

I have adored the characters in this book, they are the characters that are so easy to fall in love with. The author has given them great personalities and they have made this book so enjoyable. The main character in this book is completely fantastic, even though she has a rather rubbish best friend.

The book is stunning, the author has a great writing style which really allows the plot flow beautifully. I haven’t wanted to put this book down, it’s uplifting and happy and definitely been needed as a lockdown read.

This has been an exciting read from the very start. I can honestly say I haven’t wanted to put this one down. I have been completely pulled in from the very beginning. I would describe this book as Fifty Shades of Grey (minus the red room) meets Sex and the City.

The author has introduced the characters perfectly. I’m excited to follow their journey throughout the series. This has definitely been an easy and enjoyable read which has been filled with intrigue, friendship and suspense.

At this point, I don’t feel I like any of the characters more or less than others. I’m definitely keen to find out what this author has in store for us. I was initially attracted by the Kardashianesque cover of this one. It’s very sophisticated and captures your attention.

I definitely haven’t been disappointed by this author, definitely definitely need more.
